Housing
Student Shared Houses and Flats -
The most popular form of accommodation is the shared student house, this is where a house is rented to a group (usually 4-6) of students for a period of time.
Home Stay -
Staying in home stay accommodation is also very popular for students new to the UK, this is where you stay with a host family usually for a short period of time (1-4 weeks) until you have a good orientation of the area.
Living in private home (lodgings) -
You rent a room in accommodation where the owner also lives. Meals are not normally provided. You have the use of the kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Hostel Accommodation -
Hostels usually provide meals or cooking facilities. You can have a private room or a dormitory, both with shared facilities.
