Student Life
The craic in Carlow is absolutely brilliant. There are loads of great student bars and one of the top nightclubs in Ireland in The Foundry. Last years Rag Week was the biggest since the college opened in the late seventies. Student night is on Thursday night but Nexus nightclub also opens on Tuesday and the craic is always mighty. There is also regular daytime entertainment such as comedians, hypnotists and acoustic acts. The atmosphere in IT Carlow is really friendly and because the number of students is not too large generally its an easy place to settle in and enjoy your time at the institute.
