Established in 1971, Griffith University is one of Australia’s most progressive, innovative and dynamic universities. Strategically located in Australia’s fastest growing region – the flourishing Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor, Griffith is a five-campus university with more than 3200 staff and 34,000 students, including 7000 international students.

Student Life
Students can choose one of 5 campuses located in South East Queensland. Each campus offers a range of student clubs: social, academic, cultural, sporting, recreational, religious and political. Griffith's campuses are located with Brisbane city, Gold Coast beaches, and natural bush land. Each campus offers a variety of facilities including banking, travel and medical services as well as bookshops, studio facilities, food outlets, computer laboratories, recreational and sporting facilities, and childcare.
Special Services
Student Services contributes to the quality of students' experience of university through the provision of services designed to promote personal growth and career development. All students can gain access to email and the Internet and new students can arrange to be met on arrival at the airport. Services such as careers and employment, counseling, welfare, health, and student equity are available to students and staff from all campuses of the University.
Financial Aid
Griffith University works with a variety of country based student financial aid programs. For example, students from Scandinavia, Canada and the USA are able to participate in student loan programs in their respective home country while attending Griffith University. Griffith University has a range of scholarships available for international students. Another option for financial assistance is through sponsorships and grants. Check with your main educational body and governmental agencies, in your home country, to see if there are any sponsorship and/or grant programs in which you may apply for funding.
Housing
Comfortably accommodates 750-plus students in roomy, self-contained flats for four to eight people, or single serviced study bedrooms.The colleges are set in natural bushland within easy walking distance from lecture rooms and other facilities. Live-in residential advisors provide students with assistance and support. To apply for on-campus accommodation, you should lodge an application as soon as possible, the year before starting study. Griffith also provides assistance with finding off-campus accommodation, from home-stays to home units.
